| My first real attempt at a Macro shot. This picture shows the side of a corndog, mustard, ketchup, and a fork, and was taken with the Macro lense on at just 3 inches from the subject. Check out the texture on the mustard at 1600x1200. White Balance was also adjusted for this picture. |

| I take a lot of pictures of the ducks. They are fun to take pictures of. They were babies this spring, and now they are older, they know no fear. They have been treated in ways that would make PETA puke (j/k). This makes close shots really easy. The ducks were still asleep when I took this one. | 12-02-2000 12:30 PM |

| Another Macro shot. I almost missed this little guy completely, he was in the cafeteria nestled between plants and poinsettas. No flash was used. He was not out of focus on the camera. I will have to play with the focus settings a bit more. | 12-02-2000 12:50 PM |

| This shot is great. On the other side of the pond, we have this tree that is growing at like a 37 degree angle to the ground, and its brances touch the water. Having this many ducks swimming underneath it at once was amazing. | 12-02-2000 2:00 PM |

| This was actually an accidential shot. I was trying to sneak up on the crain to get a close up shot of it, and I spooked it and it took off flying across the pond. I decided to take my chance and shoot anyway, and was amazed that the picture came out. | 12-02-2000 2:00 PM |

| 3 ducks in a row. The picture I was really wanting, I was too close, and could not frame them all at once. It was similar to the one above. I started to back up, and was lucky I got this shot before they completely got away. | 12-02-2000 2:00 PM |

Earlier this semester, we had this cat just hanging around the dorm. Brian, one of the resident directors, felt sorry for it and gave it some food. It never left after that. Brian has now adopted the cat (you might be able to see its colar), but since no animals are alowed in the dorm, must stay outside. | 12-02-2000 2:10 PM |
