Whew! It's finally summer, and we can take a break. There are a few items which have been proposed for next semester.
These activities include participating in Homecomming 1998 which begins October 17th and ends the 19th. We plan to participate in "The Gathering Place," where Alumni can see what we've been doing, view our scrapbooks, catch up on the news, etc. This is on Saturday morning from 9:30 to 11:45. We will also be hosting an Alumni breakfast(brunch). The time for this has not been set.
We would like to have another planning conference, similar to the one last year. Last year's conference was held in Lubbock, and many of the members came away from the conference with bright new ideas and objectives. We hope to accomplish as much this year. We are planning on having the conference the first weekend in September. The D/FW area has been proposed as the location.
We have had a great success with the golf tournament, and plan to host another one this fall. Check back here for more information in the future.
